The Dive

With a sense of pride, we introduce our latest project, 'The Dive' – a brand-new training and visitor center by the Unilin Group. Nestled in Wielsbeke, East Flanders, this center beautifully exemplifies our expertise in building management, making it a true pinnacle in our portfolio.

The architect, the Unilin team, and our own team collaboratively designed The Dive from start to finish, merging technical challenges with innovation and dedication.
We take pride in being part of this project and eagerly anticipate seeing how The Dive will serve as a source of inspiration for the future of learning and working in the Industry 4.0.

Building climate control

A crucial component of this installation includes ventilation. In buildings with a high number of visitors, proper ventilation is essential. Ventilation and air circulation contribute to a healthy indoor environment, preventing the buildup of CO2, moisture, and harmful substances that can lead to health issues.

Additionally, good air quality aids in reducing fine particulate matter and protects against pathogens and other particles harmful to health.

It has been scientifically proven that prolonged exposure to poor air quality has a significant impact on health. That's why, at Climanova, we place immense importance on effective ventilation. As we introduce a portion of outdoor air to ventilate the space, we strive to maximize energy efficiency. To achieve this goal, we've implemented advanced technologies, including heat recovery through the use of a heat wheel. This technique ensures that heat within the space is retained while simultaneously providing a supply of fresh air.

VRV installation

Of course, ventilation alone is not sufficient. To effectively heat or cool the spaces, we have implemented a Daikin VRV system. VRV stands for Variable Refrigerant Volume. This system offers energy efficiency, individual temperature control in multiple zones, and design flexibility, ensuring that The Dive remains comfortable and sustainable at all times, regardless of the weather conditions.

Technical Installation

Another contribution to the facility was the lighting in all spaces. This LED lighting operates intelligently and efficiently through motion detectors in the ceiling, which are activated with every movement.

Additionally, we have also ensured power distribution with a low-voltage panel and voltage rails in the classrooms.
